Loan Matching Service Disclaimer
IllinoisLoansToday.com is a loan matching and advertising service, not a lender, loan broker, or agent for any lender. We do not make loans, set interest rates, make credit decisions, or charge fees to consumers. Our role is limited to connecting consumers with third-party lenders who may offer personal loans.
Not all consumers who submit a request will be matched with a lender. Not all consumers who are matched will be approved for a loan. Loan approval, terms, and conditions are determined solely by the lender.
APR and Loan Terms
Annual Percentage Rates (APRs) offered by lenders in our network typically range from 5.99% to 35.99%. Under the Illinois Predatory Loan Prevention Act (PLPA), consumer loan APRs are capped at 36%. Your actual APR depends on your credit profile, income, loan amount, loan term, and the lender's criteria.
Repayment terms range from 3 to 72 months depending on the lender and your qualifications. Example: a $10,000 loan at 15% APR over 36 months would result in a monthly payment of approximately $347.
Credit Score Impact
The initial rate check through IllinoisLoansToday uses a soft credit inquiry that does not affect your credit score. However, if you proceed with a lender's offer, the lender may perform a hard credit inquiry, which could temporarily impact your credit score. Additionally, late payments or defaults on a loan may negatively affect your credit.
